DRAWING FUTURES
We realize that drawings have the potential to hold within them
both histories as well as futures and they expand way beyond the
realms of the physical into the conceptual and from two
dimensional surfaces to the three dimensional spatiality. They are
as we would call them “vessels of knowledge". They have the
potential to hold within them both histories of their making as
well as probable imaginary futures. With time, these drawings also
tend to offer windows of opportunities for countless rereading,
reinterpretations and reviving lost encounters. Our intention
through this series is to uncover such hidden nuances which occur
during the drawing making processes followed by architects and
designers and hopefully, to ignite broader conversations and
thinking behind drawing making as a process and representational
tool.
